CAS candy!

I don't find CAS easy at all so I keep them small!  I wanted to play along with Ann's Sentimental Sunday challenge which has a CAS theme,  so I used one of the Whimsy Sentiments from the Bundle of Joy digital sentiments set to make a little topper for this weeny bag of chocolates.
One Stop Craft challenge this week also has a sentimental theme!

I also got the inside of  a card I made last week decorated.  I added a little pocket for more chocolate and ensured the two matched!

Here is the outside of the card in case you missed it.

If you are a regular you will know I always make these book cards for my kids, this one is for my eldest who will be 17 shortly, yikes, don't know how that happened!
I tried to make this one a bit more grown up and sophisticated but of course she still likes her candy!

My blog candy is now closed so I will shortly be drawing a winner and will announce it early tomorrow morning!
Also tomorrow Whimsy Stamps are having a blog hop for the latest digital releases, check out the regular DT for all their amazing creations, I have links on my sidebar!

CCT - Dieing for a Punch

Don't be fooled by the theme title for this week's Cute Card Thursday Challenge!
You are NOT allowed to use any die cuts or punches!
I decided to keep it simple otherwise I might have got carried away and added a die cut or punched out something without thinking!

I wanted to dress up a bottle for a gift to give to our neighbour who took us on the fishing trip at the weekend.    This Magnolia stamp is so perfect for the job!
All the other stamps I have used are from Whimsy Stamps.
The ticket is from the 'ticket sentiments' rubber stamps, the postmarks are from the 'Whimsy Circle Postmarks set' and the digital sentiment on the back of the tag is from the Funny Friends set.  All designed by Ann Vento aka Raindrop Echo Designs.
The sweet little fish charm is available from Whimsy Stamps in the embellishments section.

other challenges this fits into
Just Magnolia - Sentimental
Cutie Sunday - Everything but no cards
Corrosive challenge - drinks are on us
Shabby Tea Room - bit of metal
One stop craft - not a card

Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday!

Now I know this isn't very exciting but I haven't been creating anything much over the last few months so it gave me the opportunity to everything put away.
The lighting is very poor but you might just be able to make out a huge pile of new stamps in that basket on the left.....playtime!
However, all that is set to change tomorrow when the kids go back to school!
Very excited to start creating on here tomorrow!
Can't wait to see all your creation stations!
If you want to play along or see more workdesks today click here!

Cute Card Thursday - Sketch by Fran!

Can you believe this is the first card I have made in over a month?  I have spent time doing other things, among them a trip to Las Vegas last week which was amazing!
Cute Card Thursday this week has a fabulous sketch designed by Fran, I love it, all layers and flowers!
I used this sweet Sugar Nellie stamp 'Pen Pal' designed by Elisabeth Bell.
The papers are 'My Mind's Eye' life stories.
The pearl swirls are Prima 'Say it in Pearls', the flowers are Primas and the edge punch Martha Stewart.
This week we are sponsored by Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps you should see the cute new Halloween stamps now released!
The rest of the DT have done an amazing job with this sketch, hope you will pop over to visit them!

Cute Card Thursday -Whateva!

Great theme this week on Cute Card Thursday - Whateva!
You can enter anything you like!
I haven't created anything new in weeks so this is one I made earlier but didn't get around to showing! A very simple one.  I adore these Lily in the Valley stamps!  Coloured very quickly with distress inks.
The paper is Basic Grey Oliver.
Sorry I have been such a pathetic blogger of late, I am on the verge of throwing in the towel.  I have no mojo to create and thrown myself into some other things i.e. scanning all our old photographs and organizing them.   I seem to need an annual hiatus from blogging to get back on track with other aspects of life!
Hope you have time to join in with us on CCT!
