Cute Card Thursday - Vintage!

I used a Whimsy Stamps Digital Image by Crissy Armstrong. 

Witchy Girl

I love to alter tissue boxes to use as decorations.  It was a very simple process, I covered all edges in washi tape first.  Then I cut out card bases and stitched them.  

I decorated with 3x4 scrapbook cards with Halloween phrases for a quick finish.  

 Witchy girl is coloured with prismacolor pencils. 

 I added assorted embellishments which are mostly from the Recollections collections in Michaels.  

 This panel I added a stamped image, this was a Whimsy Stamps stamp but no longer available as was the die frame.  

Cute Card Thursday's 500th Challenge!

The theme over at Cute Card Thursday is Snowflakes!

It is our 500th challenge!  

To celebrate along with our regular prize our DT members are also providing some extra prizes!  

The card I made is one that I worked on from a class by Linda at the Whimsy Stamps Retreat! 

Not my usual style but I really enjoyed making this one!  

We used the Snow Flurry Clear Stamp set,  the Snow Flurry Background Stamp,  the Snow Word Die  and the Handstitched nested rectangles and Distress Oxide inks.  

 The prize I am giving away this week to celebrate our 500th challenge is this super cute clear set from Whimsy Stamps!

Cute Card Thursday - Circles!

I am still playing catch up after being away for the Whimsy Stamps retreat last weekend so I am late updating my blog for Cute Card Thursday!   We are sponsored this week by All Dressed Up! 

The theme this week is Circles!  

I started this wreath inspired wall hanging at the retreat where we were given this cute image by Crissy Armstrong Penguin Christmas Sweetheart

the fabulous Christmas Branches die set  and the Chipboard Circle Shadow Box by Make it Crafty! 

We were so busy at the retreat that I only partially made this up so I finished it once I got home and added the many die cut branches to create a wreath effect.
